Rudi made 2 water jumps at this year's Water Boogie, his first jumps since his knee replacement surgery earlier this summer. As always Rudi's meticulous preparations led to 2 completely successful jumps.

Grim Determination

S&TA Ken Mascarenas flies another perfect braked approach into Water Boogie 2008.  His landings are always soft and exactly on target. Ken is often heard telling his AFF students not to have too much fun on their early skydives; instead he advises a mindset of grim determination to get the job done. Tornado Warning at SDNM

There were some wicked looking clouds at the DZ late Sunday afternoon, NWS even issued a tornado warning, but I never even saw a funnel.
